This sentence came to me as I was thinking about Jakob – about the moment when he decides to set off, without knowing what lies ahead. Courage is rarely a feeling of strength. More often than not, it is carrying on despite doubt.
What I value most about Jakob is this: he doesn’t know whether he will reach his destination. He only knows that he must go.
